| Deutsch: “DIE BRAUT” ist ein Projekt aus Chile das im Jahre 2006 durch Cristian Soto Vanelli und Katia (Braut) Figueroa Letelier gegründet wurde. Am Anfang sollte es ein Einzelprojekt sein da Cristian schon seit ein paar Jahren mit Synth’s gearbeitet hatte, doch mit der Zeit hat auch Katia sich mitbeteiligt. „DIE BRAUT“ Projekt benutzt alle Vorräte wie das musikalische Wissen, das nur aus puren und naturalem Talent von Cristian kommt und die dreisprachigen Mitteln (Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch) das Katia für ihre Lyrics benutzt. Ihre Einflüsse kommen u.a. aus dem deutschem EBM, auch wenn der Musikstyle nicht der gleiche ist. Aus dem lateinamerikanischem Bereich hat Dead Jump (Brasilien) und Hocico (Mexico) auch einen grossen Einfluss für diese Band gemacht. Für die Mitglieder ist es wichtig nicht Musik nur aus Spass zu machen sondern auch durch die Musik ihre Meinungen über das aktuelle Chile mitzuteilen. Die Sozialen Themen sind vorsätzlich das Wichtigste in ihrem Projekt, das wunderbar mit ihren karakteristischen Melodien verkleidet wird. Doch die Musik verliert auf keinen Fall die härte der Anzeige über die verschiedenen Themen aller Lieder. Die Mithörer werden somit mit der Armut, der Misshandlung, dem Elend, dem Hass, etc. ständig sensibilisiert. Der Name Die Braut entsteht durch das Anwesen einer weiblichen Figur das sich traut, in Südamarika, mit männlichen Figuren sich zu wettbewerfen, also, eine Braut unter Bräutigern, was für die Mithörer natürlich sehr atraktiv ist und Sie damit auch mehr anzieht. „DIE BRAUT“ benutzt ebenfalls die Wörter Freiheit-Grechtigkeit-Freundschaft, ihre drei Kampfwaffen mit denen sie sich bekennen lassen wollen, indem die Liebe und der Respekt um das Menschenwesen das aller wichtigste für sie ist. In September 2007 hat „DIE BRAUT“ mit dem deutschen label „Biozazzard Records unterzeichnet und wird dieses Jahr ihr Debütalbum „UNSEHBAR“ veröffentlichen. BR/ Español: “Die BRAUT” Project es un proyecto chileno que se fundó el año 2006 por Cristian Soto Vanelli y Katia (BRAUT) Figueroa Letelier. En un comienzo debía ser un proyecto solista ya que Cristian tenía mayor experiencia en el uso de los synthes para dedicarse a la música de manera profesional pero con el tiempo también se sumó Katia a esta propuesta.“Die Braut” Project utiliza todos los medios, en parte provenientes del talento innato de Cristian para crear la música, como el uso de idiomas (alemán, inglés y español) que tiene Katia para hacer las líricas de los temas.Sus influencias provienen, entre otros, del EBM alemán aún cuando el estilo musical no sea el mismo y en el ámbito latino están fuertemente influenciados por Hocico (México) y Dead Jump (Brasil).Para los integrantes de esta banda es importante destacar que no hacen música tan sólo por diversión sino que también para poder transmitir, a través de la música, sus sentimientos y pensamientos respecto al Chile actual. Es por ello que siempre están focalizados en temáticas sociales como el abandono, el abuso, el poder, la pobreza, la discriminación, etc. con lo cual tratan de sensibilizar a los oyentes.El nombre DIE BRAUT (la novia) surge por la presencia férrea de una figura femenina que compite codo a codo con figuras masculinas en el canto, lo cual es poco usual en este estilo porque tiene directrices definidas en que la presencia masculina es más importante que la femenina.“Die Braut” utiliza a su vez los conceptos Freiheit-Gerechtigkeit-Freundschaft (libertad-justicia-amistad), sus tres armas de lucha con las cuales se identifican profundamente por cuanto el amor y el respeto por el ser humano es lo que más anhelan para esta sociedad. Estos conceptos parecen estar olvidados por algunos o desconocidos por otros, no obstante, ellos los adoptaron en su estilo de vida.
