About Me |
|
| A bit of History (bare with us) ... Pictures Coming Soon KRHISSY existed between the years 1994 to 1999. They became a pretty-damn-well-known band in Philadelphia and the North East region of the country. They created a huge catalog of studio recordings, receiveing help from a hand full of labels such as Super Model and Fearless Records. They played something close to a thousand shows (including an almost bi-weekly booking at the First Unitarian Church during 1997); They felt at home playing the Trocadero and TLA - then jumping in the van to do a slew of independently-run warehouse shows at the Killtime or Stalag 13. During this great time in music, they got to share the stage with bands such as At The Drive In, No Knife, Kid Dynamite, Tilt, Lagwagon, Strung Out, The Offspring, The Dead Milkmen, Screw 32, The Thumbs, Weston, Mr. T Experience, Parasites, Suicide Machines, Digger, Plow United... and tons more. This magical relationship of 4 extremely diverse personalities lasted close to 5 years (1994-1999), teaching them many valuable lessons... in Music and in Life. They all remain close friends and very active musically. Check out their new bands. Over the years, the members of KRHISSY went on to play in bands such as METROPLEX (jack & matt), THE DEADLY (matt), THANK YOU BOYS (jack & matt), THE SOUND OF FAILURE (matt), SENILE CITY REUNION (jack), LATE NIGHT TELELVISION (john & lance), SONNY SIXKILLER (lance), FOXYCONTIN (lance), and NEVERLANDRANCH (jack), The Support Group (john & lance)........ and a bunch more. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
