| REBECA RODS " YOU GOT A FRIEND" WITH INSIDE VOICES REBECA RODS Descendiente de músicos , sus orígenes como cantante , compositora y arreglista vocal se encuentran en Vigo, su ciudad natal. Inició sus clases de lenguaje musical y canto en el Conservatorio Superior de Música con 8 años y continuando hasta Madrid, donde recibe el título de Maestra de Música de la Universidad Complutense. Ha recibido también una amplia formación privada de técnica vocal con artistas como Gema Corredera (Gema y Pavel), Sheilah Cuffi,Manuel Sirera,... y asistido a Seminarios con Susana Rinaldi y Master Class con Violeta Hemsky. Con amplia experiencia en estudio como cantante de sesión, realiza montaje y grabación de coros en múltiples discos y en directo para artistas como Alejandro Sanz, Pitingo (Soulería), Operación Triunfo (varios artistas),Bacilos,Nach Scratch, D'Nash... y ha trabajado para gente como Marta Sánchez, Paulina Rubio ,Malú, El Sueño de Morfeo... con productores como Coti, Lulo Pérez, Carlos Quintero, Alejo Stível, SOMA, Marcelo Bellagamba, Gregory Carrero, William Luque , Kiko y Bruno(DABRUK), etc y graba también múltiples spots y jingles para T.V. y radio. Lleva al directo repertorios con bandas en diferentes estilos, haciendo versiones y standarts de Soul, Jazz, Funk, Pop, Disco,House Y DJ , R&B en eventos como el CAMPEONATO INTERNACIONAL MASTER SERIES DE TENIS, presentaciones musicales para PORSCHE, VODAFONE y otros eventos. Apasionada desde siempre por el Gospel, al llegar a Madrid pasa a formar integrante del coro de Gospel,Funk y Soul INSIDE VOICES,dirigido por Sheilah Cuffy,amiga y maestra. Dirige la producción de voces (y grabación de las mismas en estudio) en diversos musicales, género en el que comenzó como intérprete en espectáculos como Annie, Cotton Club… y mientras compone temas para sí misma y para otros artistas, trabajando con músicos consagrados como Pavel Urkiza, Julio Fowler, Álvaro Peire,Yadam González, Melón Lewis,Román Filiú,etc. Ha participado en el Festival de la Canción EUROVISIÓN SONG CONTEST, como coro de D'NASH formación musical que representó a España en la pasada edición del 2007. Su actividad escénica se centra ahora en el directo de su propia banda, REBECA RODS BAND, con un repertorio compuesto al competo por ella misma y contando con arreglos de su amigo Nam San Fong, mientras está en proceso de producción del su primer álbum. REBECA RODS Coming from a musical background, her firsts steps as a singer, composer and vocal arranger,start in Vigo (Spain),her natal home, where her obsession since childhood was to become a singer. She started her classical music training at the age of 8 at the Conservatory of Music, continuing her studies in Madrid where she gets her degree as Music Teacher at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has also attended private lessons on vocal techniques with such astists as Gema Corredera (Gema y Pavel), Sheilah Cuffi,Manuel Sirera,Patricia Ferro... as well as Seminars and Master Class with Susana Rinaldi and Violeta Hemsky. With a wide experience in studio as a session singer, she does vocal production and arranging and performing at live for artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Pitingo (Soulería) , Operación Triunfo,Bacilos,Nach Scratch,D'Nash,... working with producers like Lulo Pérez, Carlos Quintero, Coti, Marcelo Bellagamba ,SOMA, Gregory Carrero, William Luque,Dabruk Productions..and she also records comercials & spots for T.V. and radio. Her live performances go through numerous bands and musical styles,covering from R&B and Funk to Jazz standards. In love with GOSPEL music, she started to sing in INSIDE VOICES (Gospel,Funk and Soul Choir) when she arrived to Madrid. She is the vocal director and producer ( as well as the recording session vocalist) in several musical theatre productions, being "Annie" and "Cotton Club", some of her first incursions in the genre as a performer, as she is writing songs for other artist too. Recently, she had being singing in EUROVISION SONG CONTEST as D'Nash backgroound vocalist, who performed as Spanish group for millions of people in this 2007 edition. Her live performances are now focused on her own band, with witch she performs all her original compositions.
