About Me |

| English version Forestfather started around mid 1998 under the name of Eternal Winter, as a death/black metal band. I composed around 8 songs with black and folk influences and wrote around 10 lyrics inspired by nature, pagan feelings and winter. The lack of time made Forestfather proyect fall to sleep. The idea for making music was to not share it with nobody. Since 1998 until 2005 I made tons of melodies and wrote a lot of words, just for me. At 2006, I graduate from Uni and retook the proyect, correcting/re-writing some old lyrics and creating 2 new songs. At the end of the year, I took the decision of recording some material to show my musical work, mainly to my closer friends. Finally at the beginning of 2007 I started to record some songs at home helped by a friend and partner from another band who made the grim vocals. On that ocasion, we recorded 2 songs: "The Awakening" and another one, unreleased for personal reasons. Currently I'm recording songs for an upcoming release. Forestfather, august '08. Versión en español Forestfather comenzó a mediados de 1998 bajo el nombre de Eternal Winter, como una banda death/black metal. Compuse alrededor de 8 canciones con influencias folk y black, además de escribir cerca de 10 letras inspiradas en la naturaleza, sentimientos paganos y el invierno. La falta de tiempo puso a dormir al proyecto Forestfather. La idea de hacer música fue no compartirla con nadie. Desde 1998 hasta el 2005 hice un montón de melodías y muchas letras, sólo para mí. En el 2006, me gradué de la universidad y retomé el proyecto, arreglando/reescribiendo algunas letras y haciendo 2 nuevos temas. A finales de año, tomé la decisión de grabar algún material para mostrar mi trabajo musical, principalmente a mis más cercanas amistades. Finalmente a comienzos del 2007, comencé a grabar algunas canciones en casa, con la ayuda de un amigo y camarada en otra banda, quien hizo las voces grim. En esa ocasión grabamos 2 canciones: "The Awakening" y otra más, aún no publicada por razones personales. Actualmente, me encuentro grabando canciones para un futuro lanzamiento.
