Lets see...... I am a singer, songwriter, dancer, mother, wife, lover, friend, virgo, chef, cleaner, only child, pouter, spaz at computers, teacher, student, disco phreaque, martial artist, painter, and so it goes on and on and on.... I am truly blessed to have been born into a musical family! My mum, Shauna Jensen, has an amazingly soulful voice and has been in the industry since her teens and my dad, Phil Eizenberg, is a rockin' guitar player who has also been in it since he was a lad. Me.....I've been singing a high C since I was born. hehe. I have always loved performing and started my singing career as soon as I could! My first solo performance was in this great little cafe in Avalon (the beautiful headland pictured) when I was 13. I rocked up with my guitar and belted out Aretha tunes and Bob Marley. Not long after, I was performing in pubs and clubs fronting a 10 piece band. And the adventure has never stopped!!! I've had so many fantastic opportunities, singing alongside Jimmy Barnes, Jackie Orszacsky, Tina Harrod, Hugh Jackman, Sleepy Jackson, Mahalia Barnes, Jade MacRae, Paul McDermot, Martia Hines, Iota, Raw Sugar, Jimmy Little and so many other great musos. I feel so lucky! I currently have 3 projects going at the moment. No.1, THE FAVOURITES. I'm really happy to announce that i have finished making a wonderful record 'COUNTING THE DAYS' with long time writing partner and good friend MARTIN HAILEY. We started recording this project about 4 years ago at AUDIOSCAPES recording studio. It's been an extraordinary experience bringing together many talented musicians from around Sydney to sprinkle their magic on our songs. (A very special thank you goes out to all of you. MWA) Our music combines soul, rock, blues, jazz and country. Sultry melodies, infectious grooves and melodic guitars capture our audience and gives them the chance to experience the chemistry and fragility of our songs we love so much. No.2, LOTUS POSITION. It's a family affair really! With my husband MICHAEL WHEATLEY playing 101 and singing, brother JON WHEATLEY on drums, ME on vocals and DJ BEATRIX on wax, we carve it up playing original sassy, sexy house and electro funk at parties and clubs around Syndey. I'm also happy to say that we have just had our first release 'Every moment' put onto a wicked compilation cd OPERA BAR LIVE through ENSEMBLE 770. No.3, 'BEAUTIFUL MESS'. this project is currently under construction stay tuned for more details :-) so..... Thanks for dropping on bi.
