| David Lozada, mejor conocido como Cheka, nació en Cypress Hills, Brooklyn N.Y. donde vivió hasta los diez años, para luego mudarse a Guayama, Puerto Rico.En Puerto Rico comenzó a cantar underground con su mayor inspiración para ser original y lograr llegar a la cima y no tener rivales.Recibió su primera oportunidad en un disco con BM Records en la produccion Playero donde participó con dos temas; y uno de ellos, promocionado en un video.De ahí en adelante se le abrieron muchas puertas hasta lograr ser firmado por Ilegal Life Records, el sello discografico de Baby Rasta y Gringo.Así comenzó exitosamente a hacer pistas para diferentes cantantes del género, entre ellos la colaboración con Lunny Tunes en el tema "Dale Don Dale" de Don Omar.Tuvo su primer hit en el disco de 'Romances del Ruido 2' con el tema 'No te olvidaré'. Después hizo apariciones en discos como 'The Noise-Biografia'; y en el CD de Yaga y Mackie Ranks 'Sonando Diferente'. | |
