However, the twist being Charly Greane is rapping in French and the song reaches a much higher tempo than any of the rap songs on the radio. With his fashionable over sized t-shirts and high tops, his imagery fits right in with Santogold, M.I.A. The Cool Kids and even his country mate Yelle. However, Charly Greane is more than just a streetwear advertisement. He’s a rapper who’s influences like Lil’ Wayne and Wiz Khalifa are worn on his sleeve but it’s all done in a way that unique.
