Ingrid Lukas was born in Estonia in 1984 and started playing classical piano at the age of 5. When she was 10 years old she moved with her mother to Switzerland. Besides a sports career Ingrid started singing her own music and covers from Soul to Pop. In 2002 Ingrid began to study vocals at the Jazzschool Zürich where she degreed in 2007. During the last few years she found more and more that her roots, estonian music, should be a great part of her own music. With pop, estonian folk and experimental influences she is developing the essentials that makes her sound like Ingrid Lukas.
Besides her own music she is working at the theater Zürich, performing with various projects and teaching vocals.
