| C’est courant 2005 que DESPERANCE eut son premier souffle de vie, comptant dans ses rangs Jérôme (guitare), Fred (guitare), Cédric (batterie), Gabriel (basse) et Steph (chant). Les premiers morceaux apparurent dans un style alliant Heavy Metal et mélodies nordiques, et permirent au groupe de faire ses premiers pas sur scène et de paraître sur une compilation dédiée au Metal extrême (BRUTALISM). Ils furent enregistrés en 2006 « live » au CDR (www.myspace.com/carreaudurock), en vue de constituer une base de travail pour la suite.Le départ de Jérôme en avril 2007 remis un certain nombre de choses en question pour la formation, qui entama des recherches pour lui trouver un successeur, cessant son activité durant cette période qui pris fin en septembre. Le groupe fini par reprendre les répétitions (sans remplaçant pour Jérôme)et travaille aujourd’hui sur de nouveaux morceaux, plus épurés et directs afin de se constituer une nouvelle Set-List. Septembre 2007 marque aussi l’arrivé de Troll au sein de DESPERANCE, en tant que chanteur (vocaux death) et le départ de Steph (vocaux black). | |
