CYAN inc. sind das Trio Per-Anders Kurenbach (Psyche), Sänger Cyan (The Eternal Afflict) und Drummer Chains (The Spook). Per veröffentlichte zusammen mit Sänger Darrin Huss unter PSYCHE von 1996-1998 zwei Alben (Strange Romance, Love Among The Ruined) und ein weiteres 2005 (11th Hour). Danach gingen die musikalischen Interessen der beiden auseinander. Auch Cyan musste feststellen, dass sich musikalische Wege irgendwann endgültig trennen. Bereits in den 90ern veröffentlichte er unter seinem Namen eine EP (Ricky´s Hand) und drei Alben (True, Rage und s´Fiction). Nach der Reunion von The Eternal Afflict im Jahre 1998 trennten sich deren Wege im April 2006 nun endgültig. Desöfteren sollten Künstler die Ehen von Liz Taylor und Richard Burton doch als warnendes Beispiel ansehen... 1000 mal lief man sich über den Weg, davon kam es 100 mal zu einem "Hallo", 10 mal zu einem "Wie gehts?" und 1 mal zu einem intensiven Gespräche... und dieses reichte aus, um Per und Cyan klar zu machen, welche musikalischen Visionen in einer Kooperation stecken würden. Also beschlossen sie im Sommer 2006 zusammen Songs zu schreiben, und fortan als Band an die Öffentlichkeit zu treten. Als Liveunterstützung und drittes Mitglied gesellte sich im November 2006 der THE SPOOK -Schlagzeuger Chains zu ihnen. Per hat im Januar 2007 mit seiner Lebensgefährtin das Projekt Yvy Demina ins Leben gerufen, betreibt zudem sein kleines Label HUNGRY MOON Records und arbeitet mit den Bands dAVOS und Heirstyle zusammen, deren Musik er auch mit produziert.
