| I'm Gil McLean, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based on Long Island, New York. I am a member of Broadcast Music, Inc.® (BMI) and I am a musician for hire, providing live guitar, bass, keyboard, mandolin and vocals depending on your band's gigging needs. I play Rickenbacker and Fender Basses; Gretsch, Fender, Epiphone and Ovation Guitars; Casio Keyboards; and I use Fender, Trace Elliot and Mesa Boogie Amplification. I am located in the downstate New York suburbs (Suffolk County), and I have reliable transportation, which makes me accessible throughout the entire Tri-State area. I'm a quick learner, hard working and I play with a good time "in the pocket" feel. Aside from Surf Music, I am comfortable in any oldies or classic rock setting.
