| It cannot be long until the most reviled Prime Minister Britain has ever had does the decent thing and pops her clogs! For some 18 months now those nice boys and girls at Class War have been planning a massive party in Traflagar Square to mark the occasion - scene of course of the most famous riot against Margaret Thatcher's policies! We ask you to make banners, placards and store that champagne for that big day... So if you were ever on strike in the 1980s, supported the miners, got the same Section 28-neurosis that I did, fought apartheid, lost your job to the Tory cuts or just hated Thatcher and all she stood for, we look forward to seeing you in Trafalgfar Square, very soon, with a bottle of the bubbly stuff! When her death is announced, it is extremely likely that the UK media, always sanctimonious about death, will be particularly grovelling in this instance. Tony Blair is likely to need a bucket for his tears. Who knows perhaps George W Bush will fly in specially for the funeral? Given this we urge as many people as possible to be ready to get stuck in on radio phone in's, newspaper letter columns and internet chat rooms etc giving the alternative view. If there are any books of condolence available for signing we know we can rely on you to leave appropriate messages! Finally, this website was created partly so we can actually sort out how to get there for the big day- if you have a people-carrier, a spare seat, know a guy who does?
