About Me |

"Moondust" SOMETHING THAT WAS KINDA COOL AND FUN. For the time my profile and my 'pop poetry' piece Bottled was the 'pick of the week' on this page, it was no. 25 on myspace a'capella (above Coolio) and no. 1 for two weeks in Washington D.C.. I have to admit, that was kinda cool and fun. POETRY COMMENTS. So many of my fantasticly talented indie musician friends have left me comments on my 'original' myspace pages' poetry blogs (my no. 1 friend here) found at myspace.com/janicekephart. Here are a few of them: "SEE YA AT THE SHOW...GREAT POETRY BY THE WAY... JOSH KELLEY" - Josh Kelley (Rock Boat, as much as possible, lol) "Honeybee. I like it. Cool lyrics."-David Sneddon (London by way of Paisley, Scotland) "[Life, Leadership or Moon, River] Wow, why aren't you famous?" - Matty Cornell (Sydney, Australia) "J's poetry corner brings us - yet again - another master piece!" - Jake Hook (London) "Thank you so much Janice, Mind you I don't feel worthy of being mentioned on the same page as such prose. I wish I could write lyrics of that caliber. I love it. Sayin a lot with a little. You've got serious skills. Nice gaelic touch with the shenanigans ;o)" - Eoin Harrington (San Francisco, via Ireland) "Janice - we're so fortunate to know someone like u. ... Somehow your poems always fit my mood. If you ever make a book, it would make a great daily read. Insight on every page. How can you lose?" Melody Gardot (Philadelphia) "Nice work." - Jonathan Clay (Austin) "Excellent work." -Timothy Daniel (Syracuse, NY) "Beautiful." - Christopher Dallman (LA) "Those [Moon Dust] are beautiful and BEGGING for some chords behind them. :o)"- Andy Mac (NYC) "i read your poem which powerfully communicates your emotional process, some pain and 'moving on'... thanx for sharing." -KIFF (San Francisco, via Washington, D.C.) "Bread crumbs of a love once rising... i mean...that is awesome!" - David James (LA) "Hi Janice:))) I like the song very much, especially part "I have my own weather,I have my own seasons" beautifull.... - Svetlana Palada (Serbia, Yugoslavia) "Lovin the play on words. You are an innovator, Janice. It's inspiring to see your creative energy flowing and connecting with your subscribers along the way! ... It's an honor to have my work included with your insights!" - Josh Sturgeon (Boston) "i bow down. as you put it, just lovely. be well and i offer you two kudos!" - Liam's Wake (Philadelphia) "As always poetic and sweet. Tells the story. Janice Your gifted in many things and your passion for Art is unsurpassed! ... Thanks for your work and contribution to this thing we call LIFE!" - Jeffrey Todd (Florida) "Thanks for all your great blogs." - Lelia Broussard (NYC, via Philadelphia and New Orleans) "Hey Janice! I thank you for sharing your experience and helping us all feel a little less alone. Your words are comforting even if they are describing hurt and that is an amazing thing. never stop writing :)" - RHEN (NYC) |
