| Au début de l’année 2008, le son d’Opium Whisper peut se résumer par un mélange de metal, de pop, de rock progressif, avec un soin particulier accordé aux rythmiques. Aux influences du début (Anathema, Porcupine Tree,...) se sont rajoutés des groupes comme Evergrey, Orphaned Land, Pain Of Salvation, …etc. Les textes, écrits par Samuel, s’intègrent dans des concepts axés sur la spiritualité et le rapport de l’Homme à son environnement.
In the beginning of 2008, the sound of Opium Whisper can be summed up as a blending of metal, pop and progressive rock, with special care given to rhythm. The first influences (Anathema, Porcupine Tree,...) have now been enriched by other bands such as Evergrey, Orphaned Land, Pain of Salvation...The lyrics, written by Samuel, are mainly based on concepts regarding spirituality and the relationship humankind has with its environment.
