About Me |
|
Soprano Jacqueline Pimienta is a favorite with audiences in South Florida, where she is frequently heard in opera, Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, musical theater, and a variety of concert appearances. Most recently, she sang the role of Josephine in Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta HMS Pinafore for The Choral Society of the Palm Beaches and a concert of French art song and arias for the Norton Museum of Art's Live! at the Norton series. Prior to this, Ms. Pimienta made her radio debut on NPR singing some of the French art songs from her French concert program. She was the guest soloist in a concert given by pianist Inna Slusarenko, and has appeared as Frasquita in Carmen with The South Florida Opera Company in Wellington and as Lucy in The Telephone with The Piccolo Opera Company in Boca Raton. She was featured singing Mozart’s Alleluja with orchestra in the pilot of American Ideal, a new public television program. Ms. Pimienta will next sing the role of Clotilde in The South Florida Opera Company’s production of Norma. Generate your own contact table! |
