| that's me, your least favorite MC, I give it to you raw like mad cow disease producer profiles: okr patron Rapatron formed in Oakland, CA, in 2002. Both an MC and a crew, Rapatron rocks the genre Cameo coined, electro rap. Originally claiming to be a robot MC crew from the future, Rapatron realized that the voice of crossover from electronic, prog, and punk rock into hip-hop was unique enough. Aligning themselves with post-rock and outsider hip-hop crews, Rapatron plays to a largely indie crowd. Rapatron has performed countless shows including: Trans-Am Har Mar Superstar Experimental Dental School Inspector Double Negative Boom Bip The Lovemakers Foreign Legion Le Flange Du Mal Fog CEX Post Coitus Run_Return Bunny Rabbit A shared vision between MC and producers to create a new kind of music that knows its past but is unafraid to forge a unique future. Rapatron is a distinctive voice in the Bay Area music scene. Disparate musical elements merged with a kinetic live set have helped Rapatron set off a local buzz. Rapatron currently operates as a two-person collaboration; MC and a live kit accompanied by laptop beats.
