| Gilda is a singer/songwriter with two CD's on iTunes. R&B CD "Reality Check" features the self titled single which won the USA Songwriting Competition, and Pop/Alternative CD "Comfortably Confused" along with her newly released bachata hit single "Sin Tu Amor" which she's been performing frequently. A live performance is posted on Youtube under: Gilda Betancovet la fraga. Her song "Natural thing"(Break all the rules) was placed in the movie "American desi" as well as the newly released movie "American Violet". Gilda does jinles in Portuguese and Italian and Spanish as well as backround vocals and arrangements. She's had the opportunity to work with the Basement Boys, Crystal Waters team in Baltimore MD, and also with Cutfather and Joe, producers of "Return of the Mac" in Copenhagen.
She also sang in the concert choir with Michael Bolton, Reba McKintire and Celine Dion. Her talent has taken her to Europe, St. thomas, NYC, Hawaii, Florida and other parts of the world. Gilda showcases her original songs with her band and as a solo artist. Show dates are posted and updated on myspace.
