Life is something like a stream. Things happen. Leaves fill it up, animals waller in it, spring floods fill it with mud. Bright sunshine makes it like a mirror glass; sprinkling rain makes it grow wider, but it still moves on - unchanging - the same stream even with all the things that happen to it.
