| Hello, I am Sindji Wellens, I have followed music academy for 4 years (discipline classical guitar) and after 1 year music academy, I’ve bought an electrical guitar and started to follow private lessons (Guitarblast). I am playing the guitar for 3 years now and I have had some bands in that time. I’ve started with “the munshies”. It’s a band I had started with my nephew. The band didn’t exist long due the difference in age. Nowadays I play with “Traffic Sign”, a band that I started with some friends, and that now exist for more then 2 years. In some cover bands I sing and play the bass. The music that has influenced/is influencing me the most: especially in the beginning AC/DC had a great influence on. I have learned a lot of it. But after about 6 months I began to listen and play music from artists and groups like Led Zeppelin, ZZ-top, B.B. King, Albert King, Jeff Beck, The Black Crows, The Seat Sniffer, De Marvas, The Ramones, Elvis Presley, Lou Reed, T.C. Matic, The Wolf Banes, Trigger Finger, Willy Willy, Jimi Hendrix, The Paranoiacs, The Stooges, Stray Cats, Eric Clapton,… When I am playing guitar at home or I’m writing songs it mostly goes in the direction of styles like bluesrock, pop rock, hardrock, punkrock. In other words I like to listen and play a lot of styles. People who like that style and are still looking for a guitar player, bass player or singer are always welcome to give me a sign, preferably in the neighborhood of Lier.
