Straight out of an indie film called "Manhattan Minutiae", Maxitit The Bad Kitty Posse is an all female 4 piece with 2 back up singer/dancers they dub the Maxichicks. The music is stomp in the mud rock with pop influence, a heavy undertow of Punk and comedic tributes that catch you by surprise. They serve up a high energy show complete with bubbles, bullhorns and beach balls in a cartoon like Better Homes & Gardens stage setting that includes grass, flowers and a white picket fence. It's like the Stepford Wives in reverse. Maxitit is fierce in your face fun that asks you to listen closely and holla back at the same time. Maxitit, they say, is the female equivalent of having Big Balls which these girls won't hesitate to kick right in your face, so if your watchin' a gig, you best pay attention. Their fans compare them to Juliette & the Licks, L7 and 7 Year Bitch with a bit of Spinal Tap & Spice Girls thrown in for good measure. Maxitit are the perfect All American, All Girl Punk Pop Extravaganza. Like good Girl Scouts they cofounded AGRO, the All Girl Rock Odyssey whose aim is to "Save the Planet, Superhero Style, One Rock Show at a Time", they play benefits for good cause & work to create a supportive artistic community and all girl power band revival wherever they go. Maxitit has played a variety of venues such as CBGB's, The Whisky A Go Go, Slamdance Film Festival, Safari Sam's, The Joint & the Sundance Film Festival's Star Lounge with DOA & the Circle Jerks to name a few. Most recently they rocked the Knitting Factory with super hot up and comers The Cliks. Just had a Kick Ass Photo shoot with SpaceLlama Artist Extraordinaire!!!Next up, Maxitit is Recording Tracks for the New Album & Talking to Club Skirts about playin Dinah Shore Weekend, what do yall think?
