ENGLISH: It all begun with a friendship between our actual lead guitar (Jorge Lucas Lopes) and our ex.drummer Nuno (actually playing around in other projects). These two as also the rithm guitar Helder Lopes (Jorge's brother) joined as playing mates in 2002. Since young ages brothers Lopes dreamed about getting a band together and since young they played influenced by the passion for music brought them by their family: their grandfather but mostly from their father, who has taken part in many Portuguese bands through his life, even the great "Taxi".Our bass player (Rui Agrelos) was later invited by Nuno to join the band around September 2003. With all the members gathered, the band "RaZer" was formed, which with many difficulties, survived the test of time. One of the hardest difficulties was the departure of the drummer Nuno... About a year ago, our actual drummer (Pedro Joel Araújo) joined the formation bringing his new influences and spirit. Initially the band's composing process hanged around thrash metal influenced by sounds like Metallica and Sepultura. However we don't like to label ourselves because actually the band's members are turning around to some other genres of Metal (Hard Rock, Progressive etc...). Always with a good mood that translates in making from a popular song (traditional regional music), our own Punk Rock Pimba.Them Who don't believe have to come to one of our shows and see with their own eyes. This way we try to show our versatility and different influences that go from edge to edge... PORTUGUÊS: O projecto da nossa banda começou a desenhar-se com uma amizade entre o actual guitarrista solo (Jorge Lucas Lopes) e o nosso ex. baterista Nuno, actualmente em funções em outros projectos. Foi por volta de 2002 que em conversas ambos decidiram juntar-se e formar uma banda juntamente com o actual guitarrista ritmo (Hélder Lopes), que alias é irmão do outro guitarrista. Desde pequenos que os irmãos Lopes sonhavam formar uma banda e desde sempre que tocaram juntos muito influenciados por uma veia musical de família que já vinha do seu avô e principalmente da parte do pai, músico em inúmeras bandas durante a sua vida, das quais se destacam a saudosa banda “Taxi”. Através de uma amizade que tinha com o baterista fundador já mencionado (Nuno), fui (Rui Agrelos) convidado a integrar a banda por volta de Setembro de 2003. Ficava formada a banda “Razer” que com enormes dificuldades, principalmente monetárias, foi sobrevivendo a vários contratempos ao longo da nossa curta vida como banda, cuja maior dificuldade acabou por ser a saída do baterista Nuno. Á cerca de um ano precisamente deu entrada o nosso actual baterista (Pedro Joel Araújo), elemento do qual nos orgulhamos muito principalmente pelo bom espírito e partilha de experiência que tem trazido á banda. Inicialmente a banda tinha um processo de composição que andava á volta do Thrash metal influenciado por sons praticados por nomes como Metallica ou Sepultura (principais influencias), no entanto não gostamos de nos rotular uma vez que actualmente a banda atravessa um momento de composição que vagueia por todos os estilos de metal, (hard rock, progressive etc...) sempre com uma grande dose de boa disposição que se caracteriza por explorar velhos fados tradicionais locais, transformando-os em verdadeiros actos rockeiros de música de baile á qual chamamos punk rock pimba. Quem não acredita tem que ver para crer !!!. Desta maneira tentamos mostrar a versatilidade da banda e das nossas influencias que variam de extremo a extremo em todos os elementos da banda.
