About Me |
|
| Thanks to Kevin and Peter! 2/15/08 @ The Showbox, Seattle 9/21/07 @ The Central Saloon, Seattle Let It Come Down Promo Video, 2007 When reflecting on the systematic nature of our daily lives -- such as money-founded social structures , politically-funded regulations, and religion-based morality -- one will come to the realization that the human race has become dependant on a flawed, failing system. In the process, we as humans have slipped into denial of our own selves. We have become ashamed of who we are, and live in fear of who we will become. This is the driving force of Let It Come Down. They deliver this philosophy through the utilization of pummeling tribal syncopations, polyrhythmic soundscapes, psychedelic melodies, and manic climaxes. After forming in mid-2006, and with a 3-Song EP under their belt, Let It Come Down are quickly becoming a top-drawing live act due to their powerful and complex songs coupled with an emotional and intense live show, and have received attention from numerous industry professionals. In 2008, they will enter the studio to record their full length LP, tentatively due out by fall, and continue to spread the word -- the new evolution of psychedelic metal has arrived, and Let It Come Down is at the forefront.View Let It Come Down's EPK | |

EP Review by What's Up Magazine |

| Beginning with a low rumble that breaks into dissonant ringing chords and a driving triplet drumbeat, the song "My Bastard Saint" is a prime example of LICD's style of psychedelic metal epics. Each on... Posted by LET IT COME DOWN (IS IN THE STUDIO) on Sun, 08 Apr 2007 10:49:00 PST |
