| the mcneil story..
born in glasgow..scotland....yeh im a scot
moved to australia in 1970...lived in port melbourne 35 years now..at high school..at 13..got asked to join a band..was taught how to play..and that was it..within month's..i was playin chuck berry ac/dc..led zep..and many more thanx too tony and steve ..it was in my blood.. then made the decision to do it on my own with no recording experience so i think i've done ok went on to form more bands in melbourne....
worked with larry russell in cannon fodder...recorded with les russell the twits...steve long...and many others...
these songs recorded in my bedroom...on a 8 track recorder..thats why they sound a bit ruff...hope to get in to proper studio soon....any way...hope you enjoy...oh and thanks mum...for the money for my first guitar it did not go to waste... all songs played by mcneil..are original..all instruments are played by mcneil..all recordings and mixing are done by mcneil....at home studio.... ONE YEAR ON MYSPACE.............. I FOUND MYSPACE ONE YEAR AGO AND DECICED TO HAVE A GO..I HAD SOME DEMO'S RECORDED AND PUT THEM UP ONE YEAR LATER I'VE HAD 7131 PROFILE VIEW'S 5897 SONG PLAY'S AND 1524 FRIEND'S..RECORDED SONG'S WITH FRIEND'S 17 FOREVER WITH DEATH KITTY DISCO USA AND MAGGIE USA SHINE ON YOU..AND FOUND SOME GREAT FRIEND'S MAGGIE; SOOZE; MEW; DB; MARIA ;TOMO; MISS LISA;DIRTY ROCKER GIRL; WENDY ; WENDY2; BLADE; OZZYLADY; MS TAKTIC ;DEATH KITTY DISCO; CHARTELL DEE;AND MY ANGEL FROM NEW JERSEY KNE WHO IS A EXCEPTIONALLY GIFTED PIANO PLAYER I CANT NAME YOU ALL BUT YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE....WHEN I PUT UP MY DEMO'S I THOUGHT I'D GET A FEW PLAY'S AND MEET SOME FRIEND'S..SO TO HAVE SO MANY PLAY'S AND FRIEND'S IS FANTASTIC THANK YOU ALL...OH AND ONE OTHER THING I ONLY GOT MY PC 3 YEAR'S AGO..AND DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ONLY HOW TO TURN IT ON..SO HAD TO WORK IT ALL OUT THEN GOT ON THE NET ONE YEAR AGO..AND MYSPACE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO UPLOAD SONG'S OR SEND A COMMENT BUT NOW I'M OK AND YES I STILL TYPE WITH ONE FINGER..BUT GETTIN BETTER..HA HA I'LL SHUT UP NOW..SO THANK'S TO YOU ALL AND HERE IS TO ANOTHER YEAR ON MYSPACE ..TAKE CARE..
