| Il aura fallu bien trois ans pour mettre en place un style de hardcore totalement original et novateur. Après avoir terminé la première compo (dernier instant) le groupe se lance dans une création démente, ou les idées se croisent et s'entrechoquent. Après avoir enregistré leur premier ep portant le nom du groupe, ils ont enchainé les concerts et les tremplins. Bientôt l'arrivée de leur nouvel ep 7 titres (MESCAL-CORE) enregistré avec le soutien de nine one records. Voici une face cachée du metal français, nous ne pourrons rien changer mais nous sommes libre de nous exprimer!!! Plus rien ne sera jamais comme avant...
Formé en 2005 par psyco et forest (ex dark arena et ex ESP) rejoints par Stephane et Marco (ex Diadem de la reunion et ex emergency), Mescaline propose une fusion metalcore alliant le trash, le hardcore, le death et la fusion. Ce mélange travaillé devenu homogène vous fera facilement remuer la tête de haut en bas grâce à un son relativement sombre mais également festif. Psyco envoie un chant dynamique et puissant avec une sonorité death/trash, mais d'autres influences étayent son répertoire, c'est le plus torturé du groupe. StEph (guitare, basse, backing vocal) a un son très hors du commun, rapide mais également très psychédélique, eclectique et dérangeant, il ne parle pas beaucoup mais se rattrape avec un chant influencé lyric et death. Marco (basse, guitare, backing vocal) envoie un son de basse et de guitare très lourd (il alterne en effet ces deux instruments) c'est également un très bon musicien (plus de 10 ans d'expérience musicale). Enfin Forest (batterie) est le rouleau compresseur du groupe, ancien batteur de ESP de ris orangis, son son de batterie allie trash, death et hardcore, sa double écléctique envoie une pulsion meurtrière. Mescaline a partagé la scène avec des groupes tels que IN OTHER CLIMES, 91 ALLSTARS, DANFORTH, RADIKALIFE, VOSCOF ICE REVOLUTION, STEAKACHIER, BEGARSOUND, SMS CREW, LX EAR, SSEDD, IDIOSYNCRAZY, ADMIRAL ARMS, FOUR HORSEMEN, DRAINSKULLS, KWEL, ALARASH...
