| Claudia Aru Carreras was born in 1981 in Sardegna (Italy) . She begun her music carreer as the drummer of a punk female group called "WithoutBra". She studyed at the Bologna University, graduated in Art History in 2005. She lived 2 years in Barcelona (Spain) in witch she met...the "birds on head" : Riky, Jaume and Oscar, an amazing experience of funky and r&b music. She recorded a cd with the "alea ansamble orchestra", a contemporary jazz project by Paolo Damiani (2002) She studyed in New York City with Chiara Civello, Mark Murphy and Barry Harrys.2007 She is an art critic and the art director af a sardinian jazz festival and organizes a jam session in S. Lorenzo, Roma (Felt Club Via degli Ausoni, 84, every Tuesday from 10.30 pm) She works for the FELT CLUB as the art director | |
