I have always been inspired by music from the 60's/70's/80's. Even the new(er) music that I'm interested in seems to have a retro sound. In this day and age there are many types of Dj's as well as reasons for Djing. When I spin records/CD's all I wish to do is to share music that I find *amazing* with other people who may not have heard it before or already adore it but don't hear it played out in public often enough. Over the course of the last four or more years I have Dj'd in New York, California and Texas. I spin mostly bars/clubs. Usually it's a night that I put on myself. I enjoy live music, so I try to include live bands into my events. Although I'm very enthusiastic about doing more of this, lately I have been gearing more toward doing parties. My favorite genres of music are Punk, New Wave, Death Rock, Surf, Garage Rock/Garage Punk, Classic Rock, Avant Garde, Ska, Gothic, 70's Funk/Soul etc..., Industrial, Heavy Metal, 70's Glam, Novelty Music, "Guilty Pleasures", Psychobilly and more ! I play guitar and bass (electric mostly) and a touch of drums, but I also use keyboards and other insturments for effect. The more unusual the better. I also am a big fan of theramins, self made and circuit bended insturments. I love creating music, multitrack recording, jamming and playing in bands. I love learning more about the subjects that I am interested in... and last but definately not least, I dearly love my boyfriend, Ted (^_^) who not only shares my passion for music but is fantastic guitar player, recording engineer/music technologist ! In terms of visual art my favorite is Photography, I mostly photograph people. I also love Album Cover Art, Video/Film,(B-Movies especially), Stop Animation, Painting, Comix, Zines, Digital Art, Hair and Make-Up Art and more ! I also do Recording and Voice Overs ! Television:I'm not a huge TV person, but if I watch it's to escape a bit and enjoy some good comedy, old school style. When I do watch the tube it's TV Land mostly...Some favorites include: Mad TV ! Early Saturday Night Live ! Love American Style ! The Brady Bunch and of course Three's Company! Music Video's I usually watch on the internet.
