POP, OUTSIDER, FOLK, ART BY DAN C. Self taught artist, started painting, carving and making various assemblages in 1998 and have since created and sold over 1000 pieces. All work is created from materials that were destined for the landfill. Recycler and salvager of everything, all primer paints, base coats and other materials like wood, wire, tin and picture frames are found or no longer desired. Most pieces have slight imperfections such as holes, dings, chips; saw marks, or other imperfections and flaws that give every piece a unique character. Earth friendly art as it would otherwise be creating greenhouse gas decaying in a landfill some where. Collected internationally by museums, galleries, decorators, designers, restaurants, other businesses and private collectors.
