| Bensta began his career in Drum and Bass later than most in 2002, stepping into the scene on the south coast of the UK. In the following years he’s crept though the up and coming ranks while forming alliances with some of the scenes most established artists. Having broken through by 2008, recent bookings have seen him playing main stage for many of the biggest Drum & Bass promoters the UK has to offer.Initial club experience landed with seminal Southampton and Bournemouth promotions Paradox and Cocoshebeen; Bensta gained many useful residencies off the back of these bookings eventually including New Nation, which has seen many successful artists rise though its ranks. Enjoying a strong working partnership with DJ Klip, Bensta began to make appearances further afield enjoying radio and club bookings all round the UK. In 2007 he joined MC Fatman D’s Biological Beats label with a view to stepping into the production arena to add a further string to his bow.Both an Innovation residency and tight work with Random Concept in 2008 has enabled Bensta to start getting his music across to a much wider audience; naturally thrilled by the scale of his progress, he isn’t one to take his responsibility lightly . His passion, raw talent and showmanship have become a trademark in hyping crowds from the UK to Spain.
