Let me first say "I too once believed Global Warming was man made and going to destroy the Earth". Ever notice how people who talk about global warming always say 2005 was the hottest year on "record". They say record because we've only kept official records for about 100 years. They don't tell you Earths temperature has been much warmer and cooler.QUICK FACTS Most of the temperature increase happened before 1940 (Before most carbon dioxide was released by cars and factories) Carbon Dioxide always increases AFTER a cold period by about 600-800 years.(little Ice Age) NASA reports because of solar flares the sun is the hottest it has been in 100 years.Solar Flares are expected to increase by 50% until the year 2012.(This means we will warm up and have possible blackouts) In the 1970's scientists warned the government of global cooling saying it could destroy the world we know! (sound familiar)11,500 years ago America was covered with ice, meaning (this is going to blow your mind) Earth has been warming ever since. More carbon dioxide and a warmer planet means more food can be grown! The earth wobbles 23.5 degrees from left to right over 41,000 years greatly affecting temperatures. 17,000 scientists signed a petition protesting the Kyoto Accord View Here QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF If there were no cars 11,000 years ago during the Ice Age, what caused the planet to warm up? What caused the mini Ice Age 500 years ago and why did it warm back up? The answer is a mixture of solar cycles, volcanoes, earths orbit around the sun, cosmic rays and many many more reasons.
