About Me |
I hate these getting to know you questions. But here goes, just for you: I like craptacular horror movies, well-written anything-but there is a special place in my heart for smut. I adore fast cars, especially Detroit Muscle, euro-fag-80's everything, metal. I'm a fall and spring kind of girl. I'm honest and not afraid to say what I think. Smart girls are sexy, white chocolate makes me gag, caramel apples make me happy. I like chilly weather, I write like a fiend during thunderstorms and when the wind blows and rattles the rafters, my muse speaks and if I don't listen, she kicks my ass. As an editor, my Kryptonite is "anyways". Not a word. Don't make me read it. I will climb a clock tower and implement tracheotomies with red pens shot from a modified mini-14. And in return, I do solemnly swear not to confuse to, too, two, their, there, and they're. I don't like to talk politics or religion unless it's strictly an academic discussion and can be navigated calmly with no attempt at indoctrination. No one is going to change their opinion based on yelling, breath holding, or name-calling. I'm a cross-genre writer. When I have something new out, it can be anything from romance, to erotica, to horror. And sometimes, a strange and disturbing combination of the above. In my erotic work, I've been known to write all pairings. I do post warnings, so if you hop on over to read, do check those so you don't end up somewhere you'd rather not be. You can find out more at my website. Saranna DeWylde Pardon my dust, as it is still under construction. Be sure to sign my guestbook while you're there. We creative types love that! My current projects include: A Beautiful Death, ongoing vingettes of a female serial killer, The Misadventures of an Amazon Goddess,(Yeah, you are probably in it.) And the several bodice rippers, because they are fun... Your Love Life is Like The Princess Bride "Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind." For you, love is like a fairy tale - albeit a fairly twisted one. You believe romance is all about loyalty, fate, and a good bit of goofy fun. Your love style: Idealistic yet quirky Your Hollywood Ending Will Be: Perfectly romantic What Movie Is Your Love Life Like? |

I'd like to meet:Create your own Friend Quiz here I want to meet other writers, editors, artists, readers, thinkers... Most everyone on my f-list falls into one of those categories. My f-list is kind of big and I was going to limit it to a certain number, but that smacks of elitism. Not to say that I will add just anyone either... It all boils down to the fact that name collectors suck and suck = boring. You scored as Evil Genius. You're an evil genius! People better stay out of your way or it's straight to the gas chambers when you take over! Evil Genius 100% Psycho Killer 93% Ninja 71% Demon 52% Hero 43% Alien 43% Normal Average Guy/girl 14% What are you?(evil genius, ninja, etc.) created with QuizFarm.com Even though I bite, I'm a social creature. With that in mind, welcome to my lair. |

Music:Anything that sets a mood or can help me block out the world when I write. Right now Stone Sour, HIM, and Nightwish are moving me. |
Movies:I love movies! Old movies, new movies, B movies... Whatever. I'll give most anything a chance. I even like previews. I do have a long list of favorites, but here's a couple. The Howling, Star Wars, Freeway, The Princess Bride, The Exorcist, The Crow, American Psycho, Last of the Mohicans, L.A. Confidential, They Live, Butterfield 8, Mr. Frost, GoodFellas, LOTR, Wuthering Heights, True Romance, Vampires(John Carpenter), The Vampire Lovers, Full Metal Jacket, Gladiator, Mallrats, Clerks |
Television:I watch the old devil-box only when I'm doing laundry or some other mindless chore. For the most part, the things I like end up ditched mid season. |
Books:I will read anything that has words on it. But for McDonald's wrappers, those bastards. Capitilize that fucking "i" before I... sigh. What was I saying? Oh yes... The Collection by Bentley Little The Collected Works of Hawthorne Burning Your Boats by Angela Carter Anything by Lovecraft The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood Midnight Pleasures by Robert Bloch Genesis of the Grail Kings by Laurence Gardner Rule by Secrecy by Jim Marrs I am Legend by Richard Matheson Collected Stories of Philip K. Dick Amercian Pyscho by Bret Easton Ellis Chariots of the Gods by Von Daniken Anything by Harlan Ellison Anything by Ray Bradbury The Misfortunes of Virtue by Everyone's favorite Marquis anything by Ira Levin Horror anthos by any authors 70's Gothics where our heroine gets to shag the devil Bodice Rippers, the big fat historicals. Especially when the heroes are very bad. Highwaymen, Pirates, disinherited Lords... Oh, and the paranormals too. But none of that "I despise the darkness" business. Oh no, my leading men have to like being bad. They can be tortured, but they can't prance around whining about their suffering. *blech* |
