(Est. 1999) Loud-Melodic/Heavy-Edged quartet from Chicago. Panic bases its very existence on catchy hooks & monstrous riffs. Fusing the styles of Metal, Groove, and Hard-Rock Music, creates a unique and unparalleled sound. Panic's work has been praised with rave reviews from Grammy Award winning guitarist, Joe Satriani & American Rock-sensation, Pete Yorn. The band also managed to win numerous Battle of the Bands Competitions. Guitarist, Scott Christ was heralded as one of Chicago's Brightest Young Stars -Illinois Entertainer 2001. [Also Available] ...by the Wayside (P9's debut release) [Featuring the Music of Panic 12:52] combine: slamming rhythms with raw guitar riffs & aggressive rhythms to create an unprecedented style. The band yields a comfortable and nearly flawless method of creation. Produced by Local (Chicago) Legend, Matt Mercado (Supermercado, Pivot Man, Mind Bomb [Mercury Records]) & engineered @ Symptomatic Records (2004).
