| My name is Phillip Dunkley aka Ras I-Maric, some people call me Hamaric. Myname comes from the word Amharic which is the ethiopian language spoken in ethiopa.I was born and raised up in the ghetto a place call Tavares garden kgn 11, aka payne landwhere i go through hard life and witness alot of bad things you know what i mean, I wasbrought up without a Dad i lost him when i was the age of three, he got shot on duty by aPolice. He was a fisherman who loves his job and use it as a means of taking care of hischildren.My mother had to struggle to bring up five of us on her own, it wasn't easy for her. Duringmy life i went to a basic school called Jebb center, from there i went to a all age schoolcalled Cockburn garden all age, and from there i was offer a opportunity to go to a highSchool by the name of Camperdown to play football for them but at the same time i pass myexam to go to a different high School called Dunoon Technical high so i choose to go toDunoon.During my school days it wasn't easy for me nor my mom sometimes i had to go to schoolwithout lunch money and sometimes my mom would turn up at school with lunch or money to giveme, but one thing i never refused to go to school. I loved school and i wanted to make mymother proud and hold up her head. While in all age school at the age of 12 i use to justbuild up song in my head which i still do and clash with my class mates sometimes it wouldturn out to fight but to be honest i never really see music as my true talent. It wasFootball and i was focused on football. When i left School in 1996 my principal wanted me totake a repeat to play school boy football another year but i choose not to because times washard and i wanted to find work to help myself and Mother.While at work i used to make songs in my head until a Producer by the name of Fitzroy, whoalways listen to me free styling and said that i should take it serious because i havetalent and that's when i look into my life, took his advice and decided to start writemusic.I still play football and do my Cooking for people whenever i get any bookings but I love mymusic. I listen to all Genre and do my for all of them too. My aim is not trying to get inthe industry for the money or fame, I do need the money but just want to get the chance toexpress my talent and send out a positive message to the youths, the World, my fans, andfamilies that life is hard but we must gravitate to doing positive things to uplift thenation.I'm a versatile Singer, Song Writer who always tries to write all types of musics not justfor myself but to help young artist to get their talent out there. Right now i'm justholding the faith until Jah open the gate for me, It's never too late but on this album "TheReal Issues" there will be alot to be said and done. So everybody should get a copy andlisten it while fight through life's struggle.My hobbies are Cooking, playing Football, Video Games, Reading, Writing, Singing and RollerSkating.
Before i go i just want to big up all those who supports me and my music, family, fans andfriends.My message to the people is stay Focus and be Strong.PEACE-ONE LOVE-JAH GUIDE YOU ALL.
