Myspace Editor Pimp MySpace Djinn thrash metal band was originally formed in Croatia in 1982 as Evil Blood. The band has gone through line-up changes, new names and relocations, ending up as Djinn, based in Ladybank, Fife. The band are founder member Dennis Harris who is also the song-writer and lead vocals. Also, Paul Edgar and Sean Medeiros. Over the years the band have issued numerous albums, been on Croatian TV, embarked on tours around Europe and received rave reviews in both British and European heavy metal magazines “Their style owes much to Venom and Slayer” (Malcolm Dome, ‘Kerrang’). Yet there is something positively brutal and feral about this band that transcends all influences and makes them a band who make quite an individual impact. It is hard to believe that this is only a trio from the awesome sound they create, as well as the skill of the members. Here are some reviews: “A Yugoslavian trio who date back to October 1982. LORD OF THE DARKNESS have a style that owes much to VENOM, SLAYER and HELLHAMMER. Originally called EVIL BLOOD, the band were voted top Thrash band in Yugoslavia for five successive years from 1984, prior to relocation in London. They have great potential” Malcolm Dome, ‘Thrash and Burn’ “Its fairly high impact stuff with great chunky guitar chords and solid non-pretentious riffs over a nice tight rythm section - an enviable noise for just three guys. His growling ‘from the belly’ vocals is particularly suited to the style” Perthshire Advertiser, commenting on album “Godless De-Opera” “This is an enjoyable tape. They have some catchy hooks here and there, such as Malevolant Warrior” Terroriser “The four piece play mainly self composed material with covers thrown in for good measure” Glenrothes Gazette In May 2007 legendary Drummer Tony (Abaddon) Bray the man who was responsible for starting Thrash joined Djinn..
