I have been thoroughly involved in the dance music scene for more than 6 years attending some of the best nightclubs Europe has to offer and DJ’ing a wide variety of dance music. I have always enjoyed listening to a diverse selection of music, music that is made for a reason and not just for money. I strongly believe in having an open mind when it comes to music, if you can understand and relate to a track, then it’s a good track regardless of its genre. However my first love is Drum & Bass, which I have been mixing for 5 or more years to a relatively high level. Playing at a number of events on a regular basis over the past 3 years has given me the opportunity to warm up for and support some of the industry’s biggest names. I currently reside in city centre Derby, working as an in house sound engineer for Derby’s largest live music venue. Moving here at the age of 18 allowed me to take my musical interests to the next level. I now promote a monthly night called Deckadance which provides Derby's only solution to intelligent Drum & Bass, past events have included Artificial Intelligence, Nu:Tone and Logistics, Marcus Intalex and many more headlining. Following the success of Deckadance I now have a weekly radio show every Monday 7-10pm at www.kindafunkyradio.com. This has been a perfect outlet for the music I love and has allowed me to concentrate on developing my sound as an individual. I am a strong believer in Drum & Bass which is musically precise and that can be listened to whilst chilling out, yet at the same time will rock an entire club.
