What do you get when 6 people with 6 different musical influences come together? You get an eclectic blend of rock, pop, and punk that is both exciting and intriguing. Silence After Sundown began in the summer of 2005 when a series of classified ads and emails brought everyone together for the first time. Following a couple member changes, Silence After Sundown has become a solid unit and is now ready to start making things happen.

With influences ranging from Incubus, Thrice, Brand New, and Muse, Silence After Sundown continues to write driving rock songs that are both melodic and impossible to get out of your head.

After nearly a year of writing and re-writing the band entered CRT Studios in Arlington, TX to record their first EP, which was released in December of 2006. Since the record’s release, the band has continued playing all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth area while steadily building a devoted fan base. You can currently hear Silence After Sundown's brand new single "This City Hasn't Slept In Days", in rotation on 102.1 The Edge during the Local Show, heard every Sunday night at 10pm.

The band is currently writing the follow-up to their debut EP and is hard at work crafting new material that is dynamic, powerful, and guaranteed to surprise their fans.

2008 looks to be a big year for Silence After Sundown. You can check out S.a.S, playing select dates in and around the DFW metroplex and debuting new material along the way.
