| This page is dedicated to the singing Carter Sisters who consist of Loretta, Velda, and Beverly Carter. Six children consisting of five girls and one boy were born to wonderful Christain parents Charles Henry and Betty Carter. We began singing as young children with our parents in church. Our sister Charlotte and her children sing in church today by the name of God's Will Gospel Group. We three girls - Loretta, Velda, and Beverly - went on to become The Carter Sisters. We found ourselves singing with the likes of the Sons of the Pioneers and on stage in Branson, Missouri and at places like the Roy Rogers Festival. We play many instruments and love the old Western theme as you'll hear in our music on this page. Sadly, our group and music came to a sudden halt when Loretta went to the Emergency Room with back pain and one week later bled to death with acute leukemia on October 5, 2004. It was a shock so severe that we have never yet recovered from it. We had lost our beloved Dad on February 23, 2001 with oat cell lung cancer. Loretta had given her heart to Jesus Christ before she passed away and left behind a testimony that lives on today. Beverly and myself received salvation and are today carrying on the legacy of our music singing in church adding that Western swing to our gospel music.Loretta was the lead singer of The Carter Sisters, but her presence as well as as Dad's and "now" our mother's ,, which passed away Nov 28 2008 , is forever felt when we sing today in church lifting up the name of Jesus. Dad ,Mom and Loretta live on through us and we are blessed to know that one day we will be reunited with them on the glorious shores of Heaven and OH! What music we will play then throughout eternity!!!!!!!We hope this page blesses you as much as it does us to be a part of such a wonderful family! Dad,Mom And Loretta we will join you soon !!!
