Reunion Island, a pearl in Indian Ocean, gave birth to a band with a unique sound & a universal soul : TOGUNA.Across cultures, with a strong personality, Toguna ‘s music is a brillant fusion of Folk Rock / Reggae / Acoustic Soul, combined with typical instruments (Slide guitar, Kayamb & Rouler), hot grooves & a soulful vocal trio.Between enthusiasm and emotion, massive rhythmic and mellow acoustic tone, the debut album "sans frontieres" is a tight & raw acoustic recording, 12 strong & heartfelt songs with deep lyrical content.This album has been self produced by Toguna & mastered by Jim Fox at Lion & Fox Studio in Washington DC.Now in 2008, Toguna is making strong inroads internationally, the album is just about to be released in many countries & a first international Tour is coming !Big thanks for all those who add, comment & spread the vibe !! |
