| Mr. Gurry was born in Holguin, Cuba and is
presently a Brazilian citizen.
His early experiences in music was through his father, William Cordero-a Cuban musician . singer, actor ,voice teacher and song writer. At age 12, he entered Raul Garcia Vocational Art School. He studied percussion, music theory, including piano, history of music and performance among others. He also studied at Professional School of Music – Choir Conducting. He was also trained at University of Music, Havana – Singing, Drama, Performing, dance, languages phonetics icluding , Latin, German , Russian, Italian, French, English.With all the training he received Mr. Gurry still decided to do a Post Graduate course in musical pedagogy, focusing on voice at State University of Music, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He also took courses in acting, classical and modern dance, music theory, and languages. He also studied for six years under Hugo Marcos Rodriguez, a baritone who had performed at La Scala. In 1994, he receive a degree in Music Performance and Singing Teacher. His vast experience in the industry include: Acted in traveling theater company Rodrigo Prats in Cuba – at 9 years of age. International Festival of Electroacustic Music – solo performer International Jazz Festival of Havana as a member of vocal ensemble “ Cohesión”, under cuban conductor Zenaida Romeu Solo singer in Exaudi, an international award winning chamber choir that participated in world wide competitions. Teacher of vocal technique – State University of Music, at Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Clinical Partnership with Dr. Adrea Veiga – for the treatment of voice pathology. Voice and Interpretation Instructor at the State Opera Theater in Belo Horizonte, Brazil Former vocal teacher for Bruno Santino, member of crossover group Amici Performances: *Carmen, La Traviata, Cavalleria Rusticana – Others upon request. *Cantatas, Mozart Requiem, etc. *Solo Performances Include: *Raoul, Phantom of the Opera – A. L. Webber *Tony, West Side Story – L. Bernstein *Misa Criolla – A.
