japanese apartment started playing in 2006, after the wetfinger operation split, as a musical project between indie rock and electro funk. in august 2006 the first recording sessions were made. in december 2006 the last ultimate sessions finished, produced by japanese apartment themselves in their own studio and released as a promo ep in march 2007. after summer 2007 they changed thier live set up for a 100% electronic ensemble and started working on the new sound.japanese apartment are now recording the new tracks, that will be released in april 2008! |
