About Me
Squeeze every ounce of tone from your ax!! Stan Hinesley Pickups are hand wound and hand assembled from the finest parts and materials one at a time by me personally right here in my shop. All of my coils are scatterwound because it adds a dynamic that cannot be duplicated with machine winding by the thousands. I wind each one like it is for me. All pickup coils are wax saturated (potted) to minimize microphonics and unwanted mechanical feedback. My single coil bobbin/magnet assemblies are glued and lacquered before winding. This minimizes the chances of bobbin warpage and corrosion or internal shorts of the coil wire against the magnet pole pieces. All of my pickups are available individually or in calibrated sets.
