PETER REMENIK Studoval hru na gitare na Konzervatóriu v Ziline v triede Jána Labanta (1991–1995) a na VSMU v Bratislave v triede prof. Jozefa Zsapku (1995-2000). Od roku 1998 vyucuje hru na gitare na Konzervatóriu v Ziline.V roku 1994 získal 1.cenu a cenu SHF za najlepsiu interpretáciu skladby slovenského autora na celoslovenskej sútazi studentov konzervatórií v hre na gitare a o dva mesiace získal 1.cenu na medzinárodnej gitarovej sútazi v Polsku (Zory).Peter Remeník býva pozývaný za clena porôt v gitarových a komorných sútaziach, nahráva pre Slovenský rozhlas, koncertuje sólovo a v duete s gitaristom Jánom Labantom - duo “LA BARRE” (Slovensko, Cesko, Polsko, Anglicko), spolupracuje s viacerými orchestrami. V rokoch 1997-1998 pôsobil v komornom triu s klavírom a akordeónom zameranom na hudbu Argentíny. Trio úcinkovalo na koncertoch a festivaloch u nás i v Nemecku. Od roku 1995 pôsobil v skupine Jason , s ktorým absolvoval kazdorocne desiatky vystúpení doma aj v zahranicí a nahral s ním debutový CD album. Okrem neho nahral este dve CD v duu s Jánom Labantom a koncert M. Budosa pre dve gitary a orchester. Od roku 2007 sa venuje popri klasickej hudbe aj sólovemu finferstyle zánru. Peter Remeník – guitarstudied the guitar at the Conservatory in Zilina with Prof. Jan Labant (1991 –1995) and at the Academy of Dramatic Art and Music in Bratislava with Prof. Jozef Zsapka (1995-2000).In the year 1994 he gained 1st prize at the Slovak Competition of the Conservatory Students and prize for the best interpretation of Slovak author, two months later he won 1st prize at the International Guitar Competition in Poland ( Zory).Peter Remeník is invited to act as a jury member in guitar and chamber competitions. He records for Slovak Radio, plays solo concerts (Slovakia, the Czech Republik, Poland, England), in duo with Jan Labant (guitar duo “ LA BARRE”) and he co-operates with orchestras.In the year 1997-98 he acts in chamber trio (classical guitar, piano and accordion) orientedto Argentina music. This trio performed at the concerts and festivals in our country and in Germany. Not traditional is his work in folk group “Jason”, in this group since 1995 he annually plays many performing in home-country and abroad and recorded 1st CD.
