About Me |

EMSV was a project conceived by Antony Tooke born in Ashington Northumberland. It was a therapy against a breakdown and a need to express, but most of all about a passion for music. After a violent attack in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne he decided to use compensation to buy equipment to record and produce. A brief time gigging with a local band in 2006 inspired him to work on his own music again. His first track recorded after many years of musical neglect was 'Mystic Garden' which went on to win the Reflex Record Makers competition in 2007. With the kind help of brilliant lyricist Dwight Pavlovic two albums were released on Royal Rhino Flying Records . A struggle followed as lack of a band and finance meant a lot of great chances to move the project into a more commercial scene just crumbled. Tony is now doing graphic design for the music magazine Bad Acid and is working on a final EMSV album to sum up this strange chapter in his life and finally move on hopefully:) The Placid Casualty 2008 EMSV Albums available here (click to visit) |
