| The band has been formed in 2003 with the purpose of playing a classical and straight Heavy Metal.
In 2005 and 2006 the band records 2 promo CDs which obtain only outstanding reviews from specialized press all over Europe. After stabilizing the line-up, and some major touring (the band opened, and will open, the shows of many important Italian and European bands, such as Primal Fear, UDO, White Skull, Fire Trails, Soul Doctor, House of Shakira, Rain) , in July 2007, the band enters the studio to record its first full length album entitled "Prisoners Of Steel", which contains 11 songs. The album is currently completed and 6 tracks have been taken for a promo CD for labels and agencies evaluation. The band is now looking for a deal to publish its full length. In a musical scene where contaminations and compromises are needed for a band to get popular, BURNING BLACK have chosen their path without any hesitation. An eighties-style heavy metal as pure as possible, to demonstrate that it can still be possible to play good music following the steps of some great bands of the past: not by imitating them, but looking at the future with the strength of the present.
