More than 450 concerts througout France and european countries, including several performances on festivals with famous jamaïcan artists as Buju Banton, Black Uhuru, The Skatalites, Israel Vibration... For that reason, POSITIVE ROOTS BAND is acknowledged as to be a reference in France for their energy on stage. They have been played on main french Fm radio as France Inter or Skyrock, and they made also appearances on different TV Programs (Canal Jimmy, France Television). The band is composed of musicians from France, West Indies and Senegal. The experience singer from Saint-Marteen, Bob Wasa, brings "authenticity" by his presence and his charismatic voice. This melting-pot gives a rich, melodic and dynamic music between roots, new roots and dub. The lyrics, all written by Bob Wasa, talk about education, society, love and events of the world in simplicity on a positive way AFTER THE ALBUM "REGGAE FEELING" THE NEXT ALBUM "RAINBOW" FEAT. GREGORY ISAACS, BIG YOUTH, DAWEH CONGO AND LAINA ANKH, AND MIXED BY GAYLORD BRAVO IN LEGGO STUDIO (JAMAICA), IS now AVAIBLE , ROOTS AND CULTURE!!! - POSITIVE ROOTS BAND - Basé à Toulouse et créé en fin 1999, le Positive a enchaîné les concerts et assuré les premières parties d’artistes de renom. . Le Positive, aux allures de melting-pot avec des musiciens originaires de France, des Antilles et du Sénégal, distille une musique riche, mélodique, dynamique, 100 % “good vibes”. Leur style alterne roots, new roots, dub, avec des textes uniquement en anglais, les sujets abordés sont variés : l’éducation, la société, l’amour, l’actualité ... sur un ton empreint de gaieté et de simplicité. . Le Positive se révèle sur scène avec plus de 450 concerts dans toute la France et quelques pays d’Europe. Après «A tous les Gens» - premier album auto-produit en 1999 - Next Music (Gregory Isaacs, Magic System, Sizzla, ....) les remarque et les signe. En 2002 sort “Edition Spéciale” enregistré aux Studios Polygone à Toulouse et mixé par Gaylord Bravo (Horace Andy, Israël Vibration, ...) Bob Wasa, chanteur de St Martin (Antilles) au style vocal de Peter Tosh, les rejoint en 2003. . Forts de leurs expériences respectives (deux albums solo et une carrière de musicien-chanteur roots bien entamée pour Bob Wasa) ils réalisent ensemble le dernier album “Reggae feeling” en 2004. . Next Music puis Mosaïc leur donne leur confiance pour cette nouvelle aventure aux accents jamaïcains (chant profond en anglais, participation de Rod Taylor...) NOUVEL ALBUM , INTITULE RAINBOW, FEAT.
