UNAUTHORIZED después de algunos cambios en la alineación, y con un nuevo sonido, en Septiembre del año 2006 se unen en la Ciudad de Bogotá: Javier González (voces), Libardo Mahecha (Guitarra - Beyond the shadows, Soulless), Oscar Suárez (Guitarra - Raven lord, Soulless, In lust), Javier León (Bajo - Adlibitum - Revez), David Cristancho (Batería - Infernal hate), consolidan un sonido Melódico extremo y dan muestra de una interesante propuesta de metal en Colombia. Entre Diciembre de 2006 y Febrero de 2007, la banda entra a los estudios “Audio Factory” de Bogotá y graba su primer EP con 7 temas titulado “A place full of madness”, bajo la ingeniería de Diego Moreno y David Cely. Unauthorized, ha compartido escenario con importantes bandas, abrió el show de la banda Sueca Dark Tranquillity en el teatro Jorge Eliécer Gaitán y ha participado en diferentes festivales de metal a nivel nacional. Entre las influencias musicales más inmediatas se encuentran agrupaciones de melodic death, metalcore, hardcore, power metal americano, sin contar las innumerables bandas que han servido de escuela a cada uno de sus integrantes. La composición de la banda marca un sonido melódico, combinado con ritmos agresivos y progresivos, junto con una gran versatilidad de su vocalista que mezcla la voz melódica con voces rasgadas, dando muestra de un sonido fuerte y moderno. La filosofía de la banda se plasma en sus letras, que hablan de sentimientos, formas de asumir y enfrentar la vida, situaciones que se viven en Colombia y en el mundo, siempre dando un mensaje positivo, con una buena energía.
