Kory Clarke's vision permeates the proceedings: The band he created, Warrior Soul, which started from his spoken word performances on New York City's Lower East Side. From the trippy Doors-influenced debut to some of the punk-oriented and heavy metal material, Kory is a man on a mission, combining tradtion with avante guard creativity. In 2006, Escapi re-released the band's back catalogue. All tracks on all albums have been remixed and remastered. Assembling a new band, one member at a time, over a 5 year period from England and Sweden, Kory headed back out on the road in 2006 for 3 very successful tours around the UK and select gigs in Europe. 2008 saw the release of the Live in England album and a short promotional tour taking in London, Sweden and a return to New York City . These were the first dates to feature new bassist Janne Jarvis ( Radiator, Hate Gallery) in the band. The New Studio Album (Chinese Democracy) will be available October 16th for the kick off of their American tour at Chicago's famous Double Door.
