| Just your average clinically depressed bloke (with the emphasis on average). Live with my gorgeous, smart and incredibly tolerant girlfriend Nikki and our 2 cats.I've mucked up a lot over the years - school, career (although I sorted that out eventually) marriage... I didn't do a very good job of being a husband and an even more disastrous one of being a dad and will always regret not being the sort of dad that my two boys (and their mum) wanted me to be; one day I hope they realise that I didn't mean to hurt them the way I so very obviously did. But life does have to go on... and we can't dwell on the past forever.When I was about 11 my life changed when my aunt gave me my first two LPs - 'With The Beatles' and 'Hey! Bo Diddley'; then I discovered David Bowie and Dr. Feelgood; read about Andy Warhol and 'Coum Transmissions' thanks to Mr. Hennessey's art class; and started reading the NME just as the Sex Pistols were appearing on the scene.I love music and noise in general, a really wide selection at the moment. I don't think I've really grown up yet, but somehow have managed to end up with a pretty responsible job!. Most of the changes are down to Nikki - even though I am a bloody difficult person to live with !. | |

I'd like to meet:Finally met her.................[and one day - if there is a 'heaven' where animals go as well - I hope I meet up again with my two lovely dearly departed hounds, Squeaky and Sadie, my wonderful Siamese cat, Bournville, and the old half-siamese, Zev,or Syrup as I often called her, who grew up with my sons and always ruled the roost].I'd like to meet Howard Devoto, Stephen Fry, Eddie Izzard, Richard O'Brien, and errrrrrrrrrr .... loads of other people I admire. Did meet Joe Strummer a few times and will never forget them!. If I could travel back in time I'd like to meet - my brothers, William S. Burroughs, Marcel Duchamp, Klimt, my paternal grandfather and his brothers who died in the Great War. |
