| Adrien LeRoy started acting in music at the age of 13. Along with Adrien Bourdeau on Vocals and guitar, Maxcence Urbaniak on background vocals and guitar and Fabien Azoulay on drums, he formed a first grunge band, as the bassist and background singer.
One year and a half later, Fabien and Maxcence left the group and the ..2 Adrien.. took this opportunity to start writing their own songs. After a while, Gregory Experton took the drums right before there 1st show at the ..Grenier.. in Bougival (near Paris) in April 1998 as ..Spootnik... At that time, a great community of musicians and bands let talent and creativity explore stage and studio sessions trough fusion, groove, rock and grunge in ..Lycee Corneille.. in La Celle Saint Cloud (near Paris). AoxomoxoA, Arawax, K.Wha, Spinach Band and others played in the same shows than Spootnik, giving birth to friendship between Adrien and Xavier and Mini Polycarpe, MiamiVince, Goro, Guy Zeller and Many Others. Spootnik (the 2 Adriens and Gregory), rapidly wanted to give more volume to their music and numerous musicians joined the band: Baudouin Marnez on guitar, Bruno Calman on clav, Arthur Delorme on Sax, Louis Delorme (replacing Greg on Drums), Olivia Regisseur with her great soulful charism on vocals and finally Clement Lagrega on Drums (replacing Louis). After numerous compositions, shows and studio sessions, Adrien Leroy stopped in 2003 this experience with his friends to explore something else. In 2004, Adrien left Paris to Strasbourg for 8 months for scholar reasons. This period has been one of the richest of his life concerning music. He had brought all the electronic music of his brother with him to take time to discover this musical universe he wasnt used to. But as surprising as it is, this town is very active for Cuban salsa dancing. Adrien felt also in love with this music named ..Timba.. and started learning the Timba as a Dance. The combination of this 2 musical passions made Adrien wants to come back at musical activities. When He came back in Paris in October 2004, this willing was stronger than ever. The true start of his interest in mix and turntablism was when he met Tibo Durtel in November 2004. Their passion for dancefloor music and clubbing, made Adrien buy his first cd players and first mixer in January 2005. Progression for Tibo and Adrien has been fulgurating and only 1 month later, they mixed at ..Les Bains Douches.., the famous Parisian club. Getting a strong experience in student parties, they developed their own style, fresh, crazy, fun, soulful, crossing all the style bareers mixing rock with Disco, house with merengue, hip hop with pop, French Variety with Funk and so on.. Since then, Adriens passion for dancefloor music has never disappeared and even focused on groovy music like basics (Funk and soulful Disco) but also like actual new French touch music like Justice or Sebastian and the eternal Daft Punk. Of course, Adrien also keeps going frequently dancing Timba to Jack El Calvos parties : where the Timbas tasty ;) Thanks to a hard and regular work, shows have come in famous Parisian Clubs, like Madam, Wagg, Madeleine plaza, Loco, Zebra Square, Duplex, Concorde Atlantique, Rivers King and others and let Adrien and Tibo express their feelings behind the desk.Since September 2005 the 2 friends have started working on production. Helped in this project by MiamiVince, Cina, Nico and Miro from Startattooed, they start to build up a serious project where passion for music reaches dancefloor exigencies, where groove and soulful meets rock. |
