Movies:MY_MUSIC:Sono cresciuto attraversando ed ascoltando praticamente tutte le correnti musicali alternative, al di fuori dei soliti schemi e delle solite tendenze, non ho mai ascoltato musica che si possa definire "commerciale",con i soliti tormentoni che durano un'estate e che nell'autunno successivo nessuno si ricorda più. Faccio parte di quella generazione che dai 12 anni in poi guardava il primo Mtv Italia (quando ancora veniva trasmessa su circuiti Odeon Tv) o il mitico Coloradio su Tmc2. Lì ho cominciato ad affascinarmi a vari generi di musica e nello specifico a gruppi musicali che ho prediletto a lungo.. Radiohead, Prodigy, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Air, Röyksopp, Portishead, tutti gruppi sicuramente "alternativi", che andavano fortissimo all'epoca! Curioso nell' approfondire conoscenze su questo genere, scoprii altre influenze,andai così a ritroso scavando negli anni '70, fino a scoprire i Kraftwerk e i Tangerine Dream, considerati i pionieri della prima musica elettronica. Crescendo con questo tipo di musica, ho inevitabilmente sviluppato una vena critica e una involontaria avversione per altri generi che non ho mai ascoltato più di tanto..come il Metal, il Rap (e tuttociò che ne consegue), il Jazz, solo per cintarne alcuni. Successivamente, nelle milioni e milioni di sfaccettature che ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere maturando, ho capito che la musica...quella che io ritengo tale, è solo ciò che da emozioni..non importa come si manifestino, con un salto, con la pelle d'oca,con un brivido, tuttociò che ti trasporta, che ti fa evadere, che sa coinvolgerti..quella è musica! Rimasto sempre legato ai pilatri musicali del mio passato, negli ultimi 6 anni ho cominciato a frequentare, all'inizio sicuramente per caso (visto che avevo appena 17 anni), il panorama notturno: la Nightlife..appassionandomi prima all' House di stampo americano, con la sua storia, la sua concezione e i suoi miti (Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano, Tony Humpries, Louie Vega,ecc.), e da oramai 3 anni a suoni piu sperimanentali e raffinati, definiti semplicemente con il termine Minimal Music. Con quest'ultimo genere sento di aver trovato la mia dimensione, ciò che mi appaga musicalmente parlando è questo genere, un riciclo fantastico ed imprevedibile di sonorità, per i quali sono rimasto e penso rimarrò stregato per ancora parecchio tempo. La musica che ascolto al di fuori di tutto questo si limita in pochi gruppi o generi, per lo più del passato, che ascolto molto volentieri oltre che per la loro eccellente bravura per la personalità dei singoli..in alcuni dei quali mi impersonifico molto. Insomma, apparte quelle passioni momentanee per un gruppo o per un cantante, ascolto solamente Beatles, Nirvana, Clash, Doors, Sex Pistols, Cure, Verve, Meat Puppets, Michael Jackson, Nofx, e gli odierni Strokes, Killers e Babyshambles. Una donna "si può rinnegare"..la musica "non si rinnega mai"..! :D I grew up listening alternative and out of traditional schemes music. I have never listened "commercial" music, like summer' song that last a season and in the autumn noboby can remember that. I am a part of that generation that used to look the first Mtv Italia (when it was still passed on Odeon circuit Tv) or the mythical Coloradio on Tmc2. From there I started to get interested in various kind of music and in different groups like..Radiohead, Prodigy, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Portished, which are "alternative" bands which were very famous at that time. Curious in depth knowledge about music, I discovered other influences, so I went back to digging in the '70s, to discover the Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, that are considered the pioneers of the first electronic music. Growind up whit this type if music, I developed a critical vein and involuntary avversion to other genres that I have never listened so much..like Metal, Rap (and all that it follows) Jazz, just to quote something. Later, I understood that music, it' the only thing that gives emotions..it's not important in what way, with a jump, with shivers, all that transport you, which makes you escape, to get you involved..that is the music. Chained to the music of my past, in the last six years, I started to frequent, certainly by chance (since I was just 17 years old) the night scene: the nightlife..impassioning firstly in American House music with its history, its conception and its myths (Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano, Tony Humpries, Louie Vega, etc..). It's been three years since I start to listen more experimental sounds, defined by the term "Minimal Music". With this last genre, i feel like I have found my dimension, a wonderful and unpredictable recycling of sounds, for which I was bewitched and I stay for some time yet. The music that I used to listen, out of the things that I said before, is limited in a few of groups or genres, expecially from the past, that I glady listen further for their excellent skill for the singles personality...in some of them I really impersonify myself. Apart those momentary passions for a group or a singer, I used to listen only Beatles, Nirvana, The Clash, The Doors, Sex Pistols, The Cure, The Strokes, The Verve, The Meat Puppets, Michael Jackson, Nofx, The Killers and Babyshambles. A woman "can be denied"...music "can't be denied ever"..! :D La Minimal o elettronica minimale, è un filone della musica elettronica e un particolare sottogenere della musica techno, non distante dalla micro-house e dalla glitch techno. Essa può esser caratterizzata da suoni melodici, che dovrebbero portare l'uditore verso un viaggio mentale, oppure da suoni elettronici "minimali" che portano all'inesistenza totale di melodia. È un genere basato molto sulla sperimentazione di nuove sonorità e di nuovi suoni, infatti possiamo trovarci sintetizzato di tutto, compresi i versi di animali o altri suoni che siamo abituati a sentir nella vita di tutti i giorni; le strumentazioni di base son un sequencer, un'effettistica e un sintetizzatore; gli strumenti caratteristici sono casse molto tendenti al deep, hit hat minimali e sinth anch'essi minimali e abbastanza modificati anche grazie all'ausilio di effetti. La minimal più diffusa è la "minimal tech", segue la "minimal ambient" (questo per quanto riguarda la concezione strettamente elettronica di minimal); la differenza tra i due generi è che la "minimal ambient" ha sonorità più lounge, più leggere e tendenti all'etnico ed è adatta anche ad ambienti come Pub e affini, mentre la "minimal tech" è adatta molto di più ad esser suonata in discoteche. L'elettronica non è solamente destinata agli ambienti della discoteca ed in rete è possibile trovare i lavori di numerosi dj ispirati alle varie forme dell'elettronica minimale. La sua caratteristica è di essere costituita da circa l’80% da solamente sonorità elettronica piuttosto attenuate come incidenza del suono, o anche con bassi molto studiati nella loro evoluzione. La parte vocale è messa in secondo piano, poco presente, inserita più come un suggeritore di messaggi piuttosto cupi,o che trasmettono monotonia. Minimal techno, a minimalist sub-genre of Techno music, is characterized by a stripped-down, glitchy sound, simple 4/4 beats (usually around 120-135 BPM), repetition of short loops, and subtle changes. Related styles include Detroit techno, ambient techno, microhouse and tech house. Minimal techno features consonant harmony, but most tracks lack functional chord progression, sometimes to the point of seeming atonal. Melodies, when present, are usually short loops of one or two bars, and emphasis is put on creating layers of unique sounds. Musical development is achieved mostly by adding or removing instruments (sounds) on eight-bar phrase boundaries and adjusting sound effects. Music created under this genre can range from melodic beautiful harmonies with a prominent bass line, to glitchy, unstructured, disjointed sounds which are unified to create an organised new track. In recent years, the genre has taken great influence from, to the point of merging with the microhouse genre. It has also fragmented into a great number of difficult to categorize subgenres, equally claimed by the minimal techno and microhouse tags. Minimal techno has found mainstream club popularity since 2004 in such places as Germany, South Africa, The Netherlands, Spain, North Italy and the UK with Deejays from a wide variety of genres incorporating differing elements of its tones. By the second half of 2006, the term 'minimal' had in many ways become contradictory, as it serves as a denominator for the tech house sounds of the moment, many of which should rather be coined as 'maximal' in terms of their sonic content, in contrast to the original stripped down, i.e. minimalist electronic genre.
