| NOUVEL ALBUM (CRISTAL RECORDS)
Né en 1970 à Arcachon Après des études musicales à L'école de musique de La teste de Buch , il suit un cursus au CNR de Bordeaux puis au CNSMDP dans la classe de jazz de François Janneau Fred est multi-souffleur puisqu'il joue de tous les saxophones ( sopranino , soprano en ut , soprano , mezzo-soprano en fa , alto , C-melody , tenor , baryton et sax basse ) , mais aussi les flutes ( piccolo , soprano , alto et basse ) et les clarinettes ( SIb et basse ) Il joue aussi du taragot Certains de ses saxophones sont rares et peu utillisés ( soprano en ut et surtout mezzo-soprano en fa ) Il joue aussi d'un instrument unique au monde ( car il a été fabriqué pour lui par RV Martin ) : le Coudophone ( C-melody droit ) Il se passionne pour Roland Kirk dont il s'inspire pour son quartet .
